How should a concrete driveway be made?

I recently had a 100x10 driveway poured. The crush and run or aggregrate is exposed in several areas. Shouldn't the builder do a finish around the the driveway, so the stones don't wash out. According to him, the driveway is done. Is there anything legal I can do if he doesn't do this?

Answer:
Yes! If you have exposed aggregate that means your concrete was not mixed properly before he poured it. That will come as soon as the weather changes, and I mean immediately! You can take him to court and you can also report him to the better business bureau in your area. I'm a contractor, I know to keep my clients happy and do the right thing. Sometimes this just happens with concrete but if he had been paying attention when he layed it down, it wouldn't be an issue. You can also take him to small claims court and put a lean on his house until be repairs or pay for new repairs by someone else. I wish you luck with your drive way!
